overseas high-level talents innovation and entrepreneurship competition
The registration of " Innovative Ba 360" Kunshan · Bacheng overseas high-level talents innovation and entrepreneurship competition will be open from April 26th to May 10th, 2020.
The competition is hosted by Bacheng Municipal People's Government and Kunshan Association for Science and Technology, undertaken by Talent Technology Limited, and co-organized by Roselle Capital, Shadow Foundr and Suzhou Innovax Hub. The aim is to create a convenient platform for overseas high-level talents to start businesses, and to promote the cooperation between the UK and China as well as development of more excellent talents and high-quality projects in Bacheng. The competition is also supported by the China-Britain Business Council and the China-Britain Science and Culture Association. As the organizer of this competition and special member of Suzhou overseas cooperation organization for many years, Talent Technology Limited will support and serve for the technology transfer of projects and settling down in Bacheng.
The Competition processes
This competition adopts the whole-process online evaluation mode. As for the timeline, its registration time is from April 26th to May 10th, 2020, and the preliminary contest will be held on May 13th to May 15th,2020 online for three times, each time to evaluate 5 entries. In the preliminary round, each participant will have 8 minutes to show and ask questions, and a jury of British and Chinese experts will judge the contestants according to their performance. According to the project score, the preliminary competition will select 9 projects according to the result to enter the final. The final is scheduled to be held on May 20th, 2020. One first prize, two second prizes and six third prizes will be awarded in the final round (the preliminary results will be counted into the final).

Contest awards
The first prize (one winner), second prize (two winners) and third prize (six winners) of the competition will be rewarded as competition bonus with £1000, £500, and £200, respectively. Furthermore, settle bonus of ¥ 300,000 or ¥ 200,000 will be given to the seven projects registered in the Bacheng (according to the results of the competition). Please notice: settle bonus will be only available for the company with ¥1 million funds. In addition, the first and second prizes can enter into the semi-final of Suzhou 2020 "Win the future" Venture Contest for International Entrepreneurs (UK Division) directly.

About Bacheng
Bacheng (Suzhou) is located on the east bank of Yangcheng Lake and northwest of Kunshan (to learn more about Kunshan, please visit: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kunshan). It borders Suzhou Industrial Park, Xiangcheng District and Changshu City. It is 50 kilometers east of Shanghai and 25 kilometers west of Suzhou. The Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity Railway has a Yangcheng Lake station in Bacheng. The Sukun Taitai Expressway and the Suzhou Outer Ring Expressway run through the town, and there are three expressway interchanges in the territory, with convenient transportation.
With a strong momentum of economic and social development, Bacheng has made solid progress in the development of characteristic economy represented by high-tech industry, software industry, leisure tourism and modern agriculture. In 2019, Bacheng ranked 47th among the top 1000 towns in China. In 2019, the town achieved a gross regional product of 18.73 billion yuan, an industrial output value of 34.04 billion yuan, an output value of 12.67 billion yuan for emerging industries and 18.32 billion yuan for high-tech industries.
